Sources have revealed that Hrithik confessed to good friend Karan Johar that he just couldn’t get his 'Kites' co-star Barbara Mori out of his mind. He said that he was trying hard to keep up the façade of being happily married to Sussanne, but the effort is tearing him apart. The fact that he was talking about his co-star, even when the news of his linkup with Barbara Mori subsided, was indeed strange, just showing how disturbed he was.Reports have it those directors who want Hrithik and Barbara Mori to star together in their movie project, are waiting to see the reaction to 'Kites'. Hrithik may have wrapped up his Kites shoot with Barbara months ago but he's still talking about how impressed he is with her work. Her "acting skills" and "professional attitude" have him floored. And Duggu has been recommending her to filmmakers willing to cast someone of foreign origin in upcoming flicks.
A source reveals that Hrithik even suggested that good friend Zoya Akhtar to cast Mori with him. The film is set in Spain and also stars Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar. Initially, Sonam Kapoor was being considered for the lead role opposite Hrithik, but that didn't work out. They decided to cast a character of non-Indian origin.
The source says, "It was Duggu's idea that they cast Barbara for the role. However, Zoya wasn't too convinced. She decided to hold auditions and cast someone else for the role. Casting for the female lead (opposite Hrithik) remains open."
Hrithik, though, is still keen on a chance of working with the Mexican beauty. "Whenever he meets producers or filmmakers, he only has words of praise for Barbara. It's clear that he definitely wants to work with her again irrespective of the fate of Kites, their upcoming release."
Hrithik's friends reveal that Hrithik who wasn't a party animal before, have now started to party hard and sometimes he overindulges, which is worrying them. A worried co-star said that Hrithik used to be one of the most balanced people around but now he parties almost every night. In spite of all this, Hrithik is considered as one of the most professional actors, the audience likes his films, and he only gets better as an actor, as he challenges himself with every film he does.
Rumours of her husband’s alleged intimacy with Barbara has invoked a fierce need in Sussanne to protect her turf. She is now keeping a sharp eye on Hrithik and is not about to take any chances. The insecurity probably stems from hurt over the increasing reports about Hrithik’s roving eye. It was disclosed recently that Monikangana and Duggu have a passionate lovemaking and kissing scene in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious venture the potential for trouble is undeniable. An alert Sussanne is now making her presence felt on the sets of Guzaarish. Her strict supervision is making the leading lady Monikangana distinctly uncomfortable. Apparently, Bhansali’s new find has confided in him, begging out of the lovemaking scene. Monikangana seems to be developing cold feet due to Sussanne’s prying and her presence on the sets.
The story goes that Bhansali wanted Hrithik and Monikangana to spend quality time together, so that the passionate scene seems effortless and natural on screen. A source says, “However, Sussanne used to intrude on their space often. She even followed Hrithik to Goa. Feeling anxious, Monikangana thought that it would be better if she expressed her reservations to the director. Frankly, Monikangana did the right thing. She was sensing that Sussanne seemed to be indirectly conveying to her in no uncertain terms that Hrithik is her husband. That was the limit.”
